NOTIFICATION OF READINESS FOR SUPPLEMENTAL INSPECTION Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 Docket Number 50-416 License Number NPF-29 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT LETTER FOR GRAND GULF NUCLEAR STATION-NRG INSPECTION REPORT 05000416/2020006, MARCH 3, 2021 By letter dated March 3, 2021 the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) determined the performance at Grand Gulf Nuclear Station (GGNS) was within the "Degraded Performance" column of the NRC's Reactor Oversight Process (ROP) Action Matrix (ML211055A008). As a result, the NRC announced its intent to conduct a supplemental inspection in accordance with Inspection Procedure 95002.
The same letter stated that the NRC would schedule the inspection after GGNS notified the NRC of its readiness. This letter serves as notification of GGNS' readiness for the NRC to perform the supplemental inspection.
