EA-17-184, Grand Gulf Nuclear Station - NRC Supplemental Inspection Report, Assessment Follow-Up Letter 05000416/2017013 and Parallel White Performance Indicator Inspection Finding Tliis-letter serves as notification of Grand GulfNuclear Station's. readiness for your office to perform a 95Q01 Supplemental Inspection. This would be an inspection of the white Performance Indicator in Unplanned Scrams per 7000 Critical Hours.
The NRC conducted a 95001 supplemental inspection (Reference 2) in August 2017. This inspection identified two significant weaknesses in the causal analysis associated with the white performance indicator. Entergy has reviewed the identified weaknesses and revised the appropriate causal analysis to address and correct the significant weaknesses.
