Program, dated October 27, 2016, ADAMS Accession Number ML16320A005 Ladies and Gentlemen:
The purpose of this letter is to notify the NRC that Duke Energy Progress, LLC (Duke Energy),
is delaying the planned start date for the next lnservice Testing (IST) Program interval for the Brunswick Steam Electric Plant (BSEP), Unit Nos. 1 and 2. By Reference 1, Duke Energy informed the NRC that the fifth 10-year IST interval start date was being adjusted from the previously scheduled start date (i.e., May 11, 2018) to November 1, 2017. Due to delays encountered during the update process, Duke Energy is delaying the fifth 10-year IST interval start date to December 22, 2017.
