Failure to Follow Procedure for Storage of Equipment Near Safety-Related Equipment

Description

The inspectors identified a finding of very low safety significance (Green) with an associated Non-Cited Violation (NCV) of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 50, Appendix B Criterion V for the failure to accomplish activities affecting quality as prescribed by documented procedures. Specifically, the licensee failed to follow procedure 4 AWI04.02.01, Housekeeping for storage of items or equipment near safety-related equipment. On two separate occasions, the inspectors identified items being stored near safety-related equipment that did not comply with procedure requirements.
